The role

We are looking for a skilled Technical Support Agent who will be part of our Support Team. You will be responsible for providing direct guidance to users of our solutions over the phone and email. You will be in charge of the first line, technical, support, and being the company interface for users in need.

This is a great job for a person with a passion for smart home solutions sharing your ideas with the team, and putting effort to bring those ideas to life while maintaining a constant drive for excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, chat, and email.

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to wireless technology, IoT, and networking.

  • Collaborate with team members to solve complex technical problems.

  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.

  • Document and track customer interactions and technical issues in the support system.

  • Contribute to knowledge gathering and sharing

  • Communicate effectively with second & third-line team on ticket resolution

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Professional working fluency in Norwegian and fluencey in English. Futurehome is a multilingual company.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with an Inquisitive and analytical mindset. Strong interest and a general understanding of technology and computers, with an ability to quickly learn new technologies and systems. At Futurehome, no two problems are the same.

  • Customer-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional service and a caring attitude towards customers. Previous experience in user/customer-facing roles (of all kinds) will be beneficial along with great interpersonal skills.

  • Unafraid and able to make decisions independently. Ability to thrive in chaotic environments and handle stress and high pace effectively.
